The widget HTML is cached at the edge for performance, so once the cap is reached or the credit is exhausted it can take up to about 5 minutes for the chat bubble to disappear from your storefront.
Do you charge per team member or per seat?
No. Every plan includes unlimited team members. Add as many agents as you need without per-seat fees.
How does the $25 signup credit work?

What happens when the credit runs out?
Email and dashboard prompt to add a card. If you add one, the chat keeps running and Stripe bills end-of-month based on actual usage, capped at $59/month by default. If you don't add a card, the widget pauses (chat bubble disappears from your storefront) until you add one. Your data stays.
What is included on every plan?

Do I pay extra for AI usage on top of Emporiqa the per-conversation price?

What if it says something wrong to a customer?
Answers come from your catalog and your store pages, not the open internet. When the salesperson is not confident, it says so and hands off to your team instead of guessing. What if Emporiqa has an outage, does it break my store?
No. The chat widget loads asynchronously from our servers. If we are unreachable, the chat bubble does not appear. Your storefront, product pages, and checkout keep working normally. The plugin on your store only listens for catalog changes; it does not run any customer-facing logic.
Is my conversation data used to train AI models?
No. Conversations are not used for model training. Retention is configurable on your end. Emporiqa is an EU company operating under GDPR.
