What Your WooCommerce Customers Get
Your shoppers don't care about plugin architecture. They care about finding what they need and getting answers fast.
The right product, even when they don't know its name
"Warm jacket for hiking in October" returns the insulated jackets, with the right size and colour. Saves a sale that would otherwise bounce to Google.
Shipping and policy answers in 65+ languages
Pulled from your store pages (shipping, returns, sizing). Answered in the customer's language at 2am, so your inbox stays quiet.
For your developer: how it runs on WooCommerce
Chat plugins that run inside WordPress share your server with your storefront. When traffic spikes on Black Friday, the chat tool competes with checkout for the same PHP workers. Emporiqa runs outside WordPress: the plugin only listens for catalog events and forwards them.
In-process plugins slow checkout
Embedded chat competes with checkout for PHP workers.
Breaks on updates
WordPress, WooCommerce, or PHP updates can break embedded chat.
Hosting scales up
More conversations mean heavier hosting tiers.
How Emporiqa runs differently
- Lightweight plugin, under 1 MB
- Product updates sync in the background
- No API keys in WordPress, signed handshake
- Widget loads after your pages render
- WP-CLI: wp emporiqa sync for bulk operations, wp emporiqa status for health checks
Three Steps to Live
Click Connect inside the plugin, send your catalog, go live. No credentials to copy from one tab to another.
Install the plugin
Install from the WordPress Plugin Directory. Search for Emporiqa, click Install, then Activate.
Connect with one click
In Settings > Emporiqa, click Connect to Emporiqa. A signed handshake links your store to your Emporiqa account. No Store ID or Connection Secret to paste.
Send your catalog
Click Send my catalog on the Sync tab. Products and pages sync; the chat widget goes live once the full sync completes.
Built for How WooCommerce Works
Variable products, translations, HPOS, order tracking, handled.
Variable products
Parent plus each variation sync together. Saving a variation triggers a parent re-sync so search always sees the full state.
WPML & Polylang
All translations for a product consolidate into one sync event. Languages stay consistent in search.
HPOS compatible
Declares High-Performance Order Storage compatibility. Works on legacy and HPOS-enabled stores without changes.
Order tracking
Customers check order status by number in the chat. Nothing extra to set up on your side.
Search by meaning
Shoppers describe what they want ("warm jacket for hiking") and the search answers on meaning, not exact words. A second pass reorders the shortlist so the best fit lands first. SKU and brand lookups still work.
Cart operations in chat
Customers add products and adjust quantities inside the chat. When they're ready, the widget sends them to your WooCommerce checkout. Per-product minimum order quantities are respected, so wholesale and multi-pack catalogs work without surprises.
Conversion tracking
See which chats led to purchases and how much revenue came through the salesperson.
Live chat you can step into, without staffing a desk
You can open any live conversation and take it over, not only the ones that went wrong. While someone from your team is in the chat, the AI stops and lets them talk. A shopper can also ask for a person at any time. Most WooCommerce shops run on one inbox and one or two people, so the AI covers the hours nobody is at the keyboard. The conversation is billed once, at the shopper's first message, so bringing in a person costs you nothing extra.
Visual search
Shoppers upload a photo (something they saw on social, a style they like) and the chat finds the closest match in your WooCommerce catalog.

When it isn't sure, and when you step in
It says so, and offers to bring in someone from your team. The shopper decides. You can also step into any live conversation yourself, not only the ones that asked for help.
It says so
Low-confidence questions get a candid "I'm not sure, let me get someone" instead of a guess. Ask it for a product you do not sell and it says so, instead of inventing one.
Someone from your team can step in
They arrive with the whole conversation already on screen, and pick up from there. While a person is in the conversation, the chat stops and lets them talk.
You see every one
Every one of these lands on your dashboard, so you can fill the gap in your catalog content, FAQ entries, or store policies.
