What the $0.25 pays for
One number covers the software and the AI models behind every conversation: $0.25 when the chat talks to a shopper, nothing when it doesn't. This page explains where that number comes from, what is not built into it, and how to check all of it yourself before you pay anything.

What isn't padded into it
Hiring someone to answer shoppers around the clock isn't realistic for most stores. Emporiqa does the answering for $0.25 a conversation, and only when a shopper writes in.
Many support bots built for big companies charge around $1 to $2 for every resolved chat, often with a monthly seat licence on top. Emporiqa has no seat licence. Every account gets every feature, and your whole team can use it.
From the founder
I spent fifteen years building for the web: enterprise platforms for names like Vodafone and Ferrero, and online shops across Europe. As CTO at Bulcode I kept seeing the same gap wherever a business sold online: the moment a shopper had a question and nobody was on shift to answer it. That question was a sale, and it walked out the door.
So stores bought chat tools. I watched what they paid. The tools built for big companies often bill a monthly licence in the hundreds before a single shopper types a word, and still can't recommend a product.
Two years ago the new AI models pulled me in, and building them became my work. I went looking for the place in a store where they pay for themselves, and found the oldest job in retail, the salesperson. I built Emporiqa myself, with experienced colleagues advising me in their fields. It reads your catalog, recommends from it, handles the objection, and walks the shopper to checkout, in 65+ languages. When it doesn't know, it says so instead of inventing a product. You can watch that behavior, unedited, on the proof page.
Here is why it costs what it costs. You pay $0.25 when it talks to a shopper, and nothing when it doesn't. The AI model cost is already inside that number. What is not inside it: investors to pay back, or a sales floor to feed. No per-seat licence either. The price is low because nothing is padded. Not because the product does less.
Don't take my word for it. Install free, $25 of credit, no card, about 100 conversations on your own catalog. Read what it says to your shoppers. Then decide.
Is Emporiqa legit?
A fair question to ask about software this new. Emporiqa is run by Rosel Group LTD, an EU company under GDPR, with no-training agreements on chat data. The plugins are public on WordPress.org, drupal.org, Adobe Commerce Marketplace, PrestaShop Addons and Packagist. The widget loads outside your checkout, so if our servers ever go quiet your store keeps selling normally. Your catalog stays yours, and leaving takes one uninstall. And while you're deciding, the person who built it answers pre-sales email himself.
Check these yourself: the security page and about the founder.
Don't take it on trust
The $25 of signup credit exists so you can judge this on your own store, not on this page. Install free without a card, run about 100 conversations on your own catalog, and read the transcripts before a single invoice exists. If what you read doesn't sell better than what you have today, walk away and it cost you nothing.
